Our Convertible Leash is designed to offer versatility to match your lifestyle, available in various lengths. The actual length experienced during use will vary depending on how you choose to wear the leash and your body type. Below is a general guide to help you understand how each wearing style might adjust to fit:

Classic hand-held mode: This is the leash's full length as is, providing maximum distance between you and your dog.

Crossbody mode: Wearing the leash cross-body will shorten its length relative to your body type (it will be approximately 1 meter shorter than total leash length).

Waist mode: Wrapping the leash around your waist will use an extra portion of the leash's length, depending on your waist size.

Note: Given that each leash is handcrafted, there can be a slight variation of 3-5 cm in length.

Whether you’re walking through city streets or exploring the trails, the Slim Convertible Leash with Traffic Handle adapts to your walk. It’s a lighter, thinner version of our original Convertible Leash, designed for smaller dogs or anyone who prefers a more lightweight feel.

Wear it across your body, around your waist, or hold it in your hand. The adjustable prusik knot and second carabiner make switching between styles quick and easy, while the built-in traffic handle gives you extra control when you need to keep your dog close in busy areas.

Designed for everyday flexibility, it’s built with durable climbing rope and thoughtfully finished by hand in Amsterdam. This leash combines freedom, comfort, and style in one design.

Care instructions:
For the longest life of your rope gear, we recommend hand washing. Use cool or lukewarm water with mild soap, and gently scrub any dirty areas with the soft side of a sponge. Rinse well and let it air dry away from direct sunlight. If you prefer to machine wash, treat it like a wool sweater. Place the leash in a washing bag, use a gentle cycle at 30°C, skip the spin cycle, and do not tumble dry.

Each leash and rope accessory is handcrafted to order, so please allow 1–2 weeks for us to make and prepare your items before shipping.

Ready-to-ship products (like harnesses, toys, and poop bags) are dispatched within 2–3 business days.

If your order includes both, everything will be shipped together once all items are ready.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 1–2 business days within the Netherlands and 5–10 business days to most other countries, depending on your location.

Items must be unused, unwashed, and undamaged, with tags and original packaging intact.

The prusik knot, borrowed from climbing, glides smoothly when adjusted by hand but locks firmly in place under tension. So you can easily switch between wearing styles, but it won’t shift even if your dog pulls.
